First audience

Last night was the first time Roman Around had an audience. They were my brother, dad and wife. So you would expect the critiques to be gentle. They were.

The next steps will be cutting the show even more, (a little less historical details for the portions of the audience that aren't history nerds) and then me working on enjoying it more - which means more improv, less word-perfect memorization.

But, they did enjoy it, and with that first run out under my belt, I'm feeling lots more confident about where this show is heading. It's currently pretty good, bordering on pretty great. By the time mid-July comes around, I'm expecting it to be superfuckingfantastic.
